Evidence-of-use claim charts

We generate evidence-of-use claim charts with specific examples of potential infringement for assertions in independent and dependent claims. This work draws on deep debugging, monitoring, and reverse-engineering experience, as well as evaluation of public APIs and software available from public sources.

Prior-art searches

Our primary aim is to assess patent claims under 35 U.S.C. §§ 102 and 103. A typical search includes:

  1. Reviewing the patent and understanding the claims under review
  2. Reviewing inventors’ backgrounds, publications, and standards-body attendance records when applicable
  3. Searching Google Patents, the USPTO, Espacenet, and other available patent sources
  4. Searching technical literature through publicly available databases
