How a run works
- Pick a town on the home screen. The clock starts when you first move or jump.
- Follow the route home over roofs, bars, rails and moving platforms. Checkpoints along the way are where you come back after a fall.
- The Dread meter fills slowly over time and with every hit or fall. Fill it and the run ends; reach home first and you win.
- Earn up to three stars: one for finishing, one for speed and one for a clean run.
Controls
Your left thumb moves, your right thumb jumps, and dragging on the right side looks around. Hold jump in the air to catch a bar or a wall rail; push forward to pump a swing and let go of jump to launch. Tap jump in the air for a trick, or hold it to roll on landing. Game controllers and hardware keyboards work too. Settings has a left-handed layout, look sensitivity, a choice of third- or first-person view, reduced camera motion and brightness.
Included runs and the Full Game
Spooky Parkour includes ten Grand Run attempts. An attempt is counted when you first move or jump, not when the town loads; pausing and respawning at a checkpoint don’t use one, and an attempt in progress can always finish. The Training Yard is always open. The Full Game is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited runs in Grand Run, Plague Run and Caldera Run.
Unlock or restore the Full Game
- Make sure the device is signed in to the Apple Account used for the original purchase.
- On the home screen, tap a locked town, or open Settings (the gear) and tap Full game & Restore Purchases.
- Tap Unlock full game to buy, or Restore Purchases if you already bought it.
The Full Game is a non-consumable purchase, so you should not need to buy it again with the same eligible Apple Account, and Family Sharing can share it with your family. Apple handles billing; Task One never receives your payment-card details. With Ask to Buy, a parent can approve the purchase from their own device.
The store is unavailable
Check the internet connection and try again later. Purchases and restorations need Apple’s App Store services, even though every run plays offline.
No sound or vibration
Open Settings and make sure Sound effects, Music and Haptics are on. Then check the device volume and, on iPhone, the Ring/Silent switch: the game follows it.
