Holler: Microphone for Sonos

Speak live, send a recorded announcement, or play useful sounds through one or more compatible Sonos rooms on your local network.

Your voice, throughout the house.

Holler turns reachable Sonos speakers into a private household intercom and soundboard—without a Holler account, advertising, tracking, or cloud audio relay.

Three ways to be heard

Use Live for a continuous microphone connection, Message for a short recorded announcement, or Sounds for eight built-in attention and ambience choices.

One room or many

Choose a room or a compatible group. When the announcement ends, Holler restores grouping, playback, and volume whenever the speaker makes that state available.

Try everything

Every feature is available during a seven-day trial. Holler Pro is a one-time $2.99 lifetime unlock—no subscription and no ads.

Release status: Holler is being prepared for the App Store. A download link will appear here when its public listing is available.

How it works

Live, recorded, or ready-made.

Pick reachable rooms, choose a mode, and control the announcement volume from one clear screen.

Holler Live mode ready to broadcast continuously to the Living Room and Kitchen
Speak continuously without holding a button.
Holler room selection showing two selected S2 rooms and one unselected S1 room
See S1 and S2 at a glance and group compatible rooms.
Holler Sounds mode showing all eight built-in sound choices
Play household alerts or ambient sounds, then stop them with a tap.

Before you use Holler

Holler requires compatible Sonos speakers reachable from your iPhone or iPad over the same Wi-Fi or routed local network. Remote broadcasting over the internet is not supported.

Keep Holler open while using Live. Locking the screen, leaving the app, or interrupting the microphone stops Live and begins restoration of the previous Sonos state. Sonos S1 and S2 systems remain separate and cannot be grouped together.

Included alarm and siren sounds are for entertainment and attention-getting use only. Holler is not an emergency warning or life-safety system.

Holler is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sonos, Inc. Sonos is a trademark of Sonos, Inc.
